Manchester newcomers, Moss Side Sauna Club, have dropped their latest single, ‘My Weird Appetite’. They’re a genre-fluid band who bring together distorted electronic production and woozy guitars, with a gift for a hook and a harmony. This track allows for a huge electro-clash bass line to collide with a crunchy drum groove and tongue-in-cheek vocal delivery that perfectly matches the VHS-style music video that accompanies the track. “We came together to make an album during the worst times of our lives instead of going to therapy,” the band say, of their formation. “The project came as a heat stroke induced fever dream as Sam desperately tried to feel good again in his local leisure centre.
